Hey there! I’m so glad you’re here. My name is Kari (rhymes with "sorry") and I am a holistic wellness professional. I am a Seattle based Pilates instructor and Doula and I am here to support and guide you to living the life you desire - the life you deserve - through a holistic approach to health and wellness. It’s about tuning in to what you need—whether that’s finding strength in Pilates, nourishing your body with the right foods, or giving yourself the space to rest and slow down. My mission is to help you trust your intuition and discover the lifestyle that makes you feel your absolute best, no matter where you are on your wellness journey.
I’m a comprehensively certified Pilates instructor with a BS in Exercise Science, an integrative nutrition coach, and a birth and postpartum doula. I have been on my own healing journey for quite some time. I spent years playing whack-a-mole with various health issues such as acne, severe PMS, vertigo, rosacea, acid reflux, frequent bloating, fatigue and more. During my journey I discovered 2 things- 1. your body is constantly communicating with you and just because what you're experiencing is common doesn't mean it's normal 2. everything is interconnected (diet, stress, sleep, movement, relationships, environment, etc.). But the most important thing you need to know about me is that I’m here to support you—whether you’re looking to feel stronger, find balance, or grow your family. What I’ve learned along the way is that our bodies know what they need if we take the time to listen. That’s what I’m all about: helping you tune into that inner wisdom.
Whether I am leading you through a Pilates session or supporting you through labor, I’m all about helping you find what works best for your body, your life, and your goals. I’m here to guide you, but ultimately, I want you to feel empowered to trust your own instincts. I’m here for you every step of the way.
I believe wellness is a lifelong journey. It's not about being perfect, and it’s not about following any one trend. It’s about figuring out what makes you feel good —is it a high intensity workout or restorative stretching? a homemade pizza night with your family or letting me prepare your dinner so you can take a nap? putting down your phone and going for a walk or reading a good book? a home birth or hospital birth? dancing in the kitchen or meditating in your bed?
